NDP Health spokesperson for mental health and addictions, Selina Robinson says despite Tuesday’s announcement, help from Christy Clark’s government has not come soon enough.

 “After years of ignoring addictions, it’s unfortunate that it’s taken a crisis like this, thousands of deaths in order for Christy Clark to pay attention.”

 Robinson says we still have treatment centres in B.C. that aren’t regulated and no professional standards.
